My name is Joel Larsson and i live in Sweden in the Gurk-city of Västerås.

One of my biggest hobbies is photography, it began sometime around 2003 when I wanted to photograph my Warhammer figurines and got a compact camera from Nikkon. I realized pretty quickly that it was fun to shoot more than just Warhammer.

In the spring of 2008, with better income and a slight decrees of interest for photography , I bought my Canon EOS 450. It may seem strange, but I knew that the reason why I lost interest was that my compact didn't  really offer what I wanted. And that it was falling to pieces.

With my brand new Eos 450 my interest has only increased, and it just gets funnier and funnier to take pictures.

Photoshop has been my friend since I started taking pictures and it's the tool that has saved and improved allot for me. I always try to keep the same colours and contrasts and keep the image as close to the "original" as possible.

I recently started to use Lightroom 3, a very usefull tool. that makes Photography alot easyer!

Today I use my Canon EOS 7D with a Sigma 18-50mm 1:2.8 EX lens, Sigma 50mm 1:1.4 EX DG HSM EX and a Canon Speedlight 580EX II external flash and sometimes I borrow a Canon L 70-300mm from my cousin , more equipment to come.
