And if you have any ideas, advices or questions do not hesitate to ask me anything.

Every comment is worth gold to me.

A good friend and Photographer of mine, Arvid Haglund, heard of a place here i Sweden that was almost completely deserted of inhabitants and we felt almost compelled to go there.

That place is Björnhammaren.

In 2005, the population went below 50  and this is because of the closing and relocating of a local industry.

And this is the result; 4 pretty strong, but, beautiful pictures.

Enjoy !

I went to a dragrace/streetrace competition here in Västerås at Joberg Airport with a couple of friends.

It was a verry hot day and we were fried by the sun.

The competition was good in both the Dragrace and the Streetrace, with a lot of good looking and not so good-looking fast cars.

But unfortunately it wasn't that many participants becouse of a race further up north and they got some prize money for the winner.

Enjoy!

wow.
It has been a long time since I did a update but here it is.

First of all i have made 2 big new categories: Midsummer in Dalcarlia and High school graduation.

A couple of my friends and me self of course, went to a small summer house in the middle of Sweden called Dalcarlia and we calibrated Midsummer's Eve.

"In modern Sweden, Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer's Day  (Midsommarafton and Midsommardagen) were formerly celebrated on 23 June and 24 June, but since 1953 the celebration has been moved to the Friday and Saturday between 19 June and 26 June. It is one of the most important holidays of the year in Sweden, and probably the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated. The main celebrations take place on the Friday, and the traditional events include raising and dancing around a huge maypole.
Before the maypole is raised, greens and flowers are collected and used to cover the entire pole.

Raising and dancing around a maypole (majstång or midsommarstång) is an activity that attracts families and many others.
People dancing around the pole listen to traditional music and some even wear traditional folk costumes. In addition, many wear crowns made of wild springs and wild flowers on their heads. The year's first potatoes, Soused herring, Chives, Sour Cream, Beer, Snaps and the first strawberries of the season are on the menu. Drinking songs Snapsvisor are also important at this feast, and many drink heavily. When Sweden got its National day (6th june), discussions were held about making Midsummer the Swedish national day because of the strong civil celebration on this day."

A very good friend of mine Graduated from High school (Gymmnasiet) and i was there to Capture the Moment.

"In many parts of Sweden the closure of the graduation is completed when the student do a so-called "utspringning" where students are "released" from school,
In the the school yard there is waiting family, relatives, friends and acquaintances who had come to accept and celebrate the freshly graduated students.
Often the students that is "realised" are in a state of jubilant WHIRL OF HAPPINESS with hints of spontaneous song, dance, fars, waving and shouting.
Not uncommon is to sing "För vi har tagit studenten, för vi har tagit studenten, fy fan va vi är bra" to the melody from the French folk song "Marlbrough s'en va-t-en guerre"
Students will be showerd with congratulations, flowers and all sorts of gifts. These gifts are often equipped with tape or string and hung around the student's neck."

And finally, I did a very small but cool update in my Miscellaneous category.
It's my self and 5 other very handsome guys sitting in my new bought couch. Check it out!

A friend's band played at Sigurdsgatan 25 here in Västerås and I was there as moral support and of course, took the camera with me.

Black Death consists of Ola Segerberg (Vocals) Anders Burman (Guitars), David Lessing (Bass) Stefan Benediktsson (Drums)
With a glorious self-confidence they took the stage and did a good performance.

Have also added new pictures in the profile, and miscellaneous category.

So it is 10 years since Västerås Air Museum was founded as a non-profit community. The museum has about 25 aircrafts. They also have two flight simulators that can be tested.

It is called "RollOut", because the aircrafts are being rolled out of the sheds after having been inside during the winter months.

I was there with some friends and took a few pictuers, i was frankly more interested in the old cars then the planes.
